WHATS THE ISSUE?

Well 74 Australian women and 27 Australian children were killed in 2019. Violence against women is a significant issue in Australia, and scarily many women don't understand the cycle of abuse until long after they have left dangerous environments. On average, Police are called out to Domestic Violence reports EVERY TWO MINUTES. Male perpetrated violence is a serious, widespread problem and it has to stop where it starts - inflexible beliefs about gender roles, sexist jokes and unequal distribution of power and resources between men and women.

SO WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?

Knowledge = Power.
Not Your Baby aims to spread awareness of Domestic Abuse and gendered violence, by empowering both women and men to call out inexcusable behaviour.
We are (together with your help) going to arm Survivors with the knowledge of just how worthy of healthy and loving relationships they are, and Allies of how to best support Survivors.
