Knowing what Family Violence (also known as Domestic Violence or Abuse) looks like [including but not limited to, accusation, and innuendo; deprivation of freedom; or physical or sexual assault], gives us the strength to impact change in our home, and by extension our greater community.
Violence is not the answer to any emotion, and modelling healthy boundaries with healthy emotional regulation to our children is the most sure-fire way to raise a generation of well-rounded and peaceful humans.
